The Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Society (NAIS) board meeting in Oslo

The Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Society (NAIS) was established in October 1985 as a representative body for the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence community. Its aim is to promote the study, research and application of Artificial Intelligence in Norway. NAIS is a member of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI).

The NAIS is currently being revitalised thanks to the contribution of some of the most talented AI professionals in Norway. We had our first face-to-face NAIS board meeting on February 25, 2019, in Oslo. Setting the goals for the organisation and planning our first symposium. Thanks to IBM for hosting us! It was a very interesting and fruitful meeting. It also was an opportunity for my PhD Candidate, Steven Bos, to participate and get to know the other NAIS board members.
