The 4th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies and Applications (INTAP'21) was held on 11-13 October, 2021 at the University of Agder (UiA), Grimstad, Norway. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). First detected in 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei, China, the disease has since spread globally resulting in the coronavirus pandemic of 2019–20. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought travel to a standstill. Because of my work as an active researcher, I used to travel quite often around the world prior the COVID-19 pandemic.
