The University of Agder research activity showcased on Italian TV

On Friday 22.11.2019, a television crew from the Italian channel La7 visited the Dept. of Engineering Sciences, University of Agder (UiA), Grimstad. The crew interviewed me and other colleagues. The crew also also visited the university facilities and laboratories, such as the Mechatronics Innovation Lab (MIL) and the I4Helse arena. The crew was very interested in assistive technology for elderly people.

The crew interviewed the following representatives:

  • Filippo Sanfilippo, Professor of Robotics, University of Agder (UiA);
  • Geir Grasmo, Head of Department, University of Agder (UiA);
  • Morten Ottestad, Assistant Professor, University of Agder (UiA);
  • Bernt Inge Øhrn, CEO, Mechatronics Innovation Lab AS;
  • Andreas Prinz, Professor, Leader of E-health Lab;
  • Sølvi Jacobsen, Advisor Development Department, Grimstad;
  • Andrea Maini, Honorary Vice Consul of Italy, Grimstad.

This was a good opportunity to promote our research activity outside Norway.
